Back in Arkansas
It’s as red as Florida, but not near as crowded.
Note: This was originally written in April, when we got back to Arkansas and I have been too lazy and down in the dumps to edit it. There’s been a new chapter since this, which I am writing.
We’ve been spending our winters in Florida since 2022, but I think we’ve had enough, at least for a while. We put our Sarasota place up for sale, and it appears to be sold if the seller qualifies. The 55-Plus trailer park (they call it a resort) we lived in demands not only that one have the money, but the tenants have to win approval to live in the community. They do a background check and if you have questionable credit, or have been arrested, or are a kid under 55 years old, etc., it’s a no go. So we not only have to find a buyer, but one that meets all the rules for membership.
So, we are hoping our potential buyer gets the go-ahead!
