How Dare They?

Easy, all the cards are stacked in their favor.

I don’t mean to insult anyone’s intelligence, but I’m speaking to people who have more to do than follow politics and government and it seems beyond the news, a simple lesson in the design of our government is in order.

There are three branches of government — Executive, Judicial and Legislative. They are all equal in power. It is that way for very good reasons including the safeguard that not one section of government will become too powerful and overrule the other two. In that situation, our democracy would be a joke.
