I hope so. The cost of membership isn’t more than a fancy cup of coffee. It seems to me the very reasonable cost of membership is simply a cost of doing business — and very much worth it. I guess I wasn’t aware or had forgotten that non-subscribers could earn money as well as subscribers. That seems to me a very unfair practice. We pay subscriptions to help Medium be able to pay us and promote good writing. The playing field needs to be level; and it doesn’t seem so under the current rules.
