I think I’m losing it.

We were checking out at Walmart today, and I couldn’t get my debit card to work. My husband, Ray, took over, and the card purchase went right through. He said I was putting my four-digit pen in backward with the last two numbers first. When I thought about it a bit, I knew he was right.

Say my numbers were 2034 (they are not), but I kept entering 3420. Several times — until Ray saw what I was doing wrong. I’ve had this pin since 2006. I wouldn’t be so worried if it were just a momentary thing, but I did this same thing several times, except in a different situation.
