According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, while working people try to figure out how to pay the mortgage, make the car payments, and buy enough groceries to feed the family, 86 percent of the 500 wealthiest Americans collectively gained $1 trillion during 2021. Not a bad year’s work.
