Thoughts On the President’s Speech

The first thing that comes to mind about the speech President Biden just made is that I was not embarrassed. Not even once did I feel ashamed of the leader of the United States. And while that may not seem like a big deal, after what we’ve been through, it is. I spent four years feeling as if I should be blushing and ashamed for my country while the orange thing spoke in his braggadocious and blustering way.

So, first of all, I wasn’t ashamed. I was proud of the president. Yeah. I feel like yelling it. I was proud tonight of our American president.
