Today is a Day of Infamy

We women are no longer free to control our bodies. It is but a short step from removing freedom over our bodies to removing all our freedom.

We are no longer a progressive country. We are an uncivilized and backward society that has now allowed a politically partial quasi-supreme court to remove basic women’s rights. A court that will control our fortunes and the parameters by which we can live our lives, selected by an insane narcissist sociopath who would become our ruler.

The justices responsible for this travesty were appointed by a mad criminal, yet we are expected to shrug and obey.

Men, don’t you stand back, sigh, and say too bad for women. You will be next. Your freedom and your rights are no more significant to the Trump appointees than women’s.

Fascism won’t completely triumph yet, but ultimately is inevitable because this way comes evil never seen here before and it is carrying a flag, a Bible and the colors of the GOP. The time is approaching like a thief in the night and will render not only women but men too unable to exercise the most basic of rights.

Once the right to determine what occurs to one’s body is gone, authoritarian rule by men not elected by us is only a bit farther down the road and is already overtaking us.

Today is a sad day in the history of the United States of America. A tragic day. A day of infamy.
