Wavering Legislators Can Preserve Democracy by Impeachng and Removing Donald Trump

If legislators don’t defend the constitution , as they are sworn to do, they may not have an office to run for under tyranny. Lawmakers under that system will be appointed, not elected, if a lawmaking entity is even allowed. Trump will most likely be the law.
Several Democrats in the House have expressed qualms about voting to impeach Donald Trump. They’re worried they’ll lose votes from their home districts.
I’ve got a hot tip for them. They may never even get the chance to run for office again if they don’t stand up and defend the Constitution. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m sick and tired of people who took an oath to defend the constitution and this constitutional republic and are too chicken shit to do it.
It’s a good thing our military doesn’t operate like the lily-livered Democrats and the Trump boot-licking Senate. The safeguards built to protect this nation from tyranny are not being upheld because We, the people, have elected a bunch of self-protective imposters who value their own political careers over the defense of the constitution and the country.
We’ve come to a serious juncture in our history. This is the test. If the politicians, for all their lying, self-serving political ambitions, can’t raise themselves above it when the situation is this dire, we are no longer the United States of America. We are through.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has already stated he will defend Trump instead of the Constitution. He should be impeached, too, for failure to execute the duties of his office and violating the trust Americans put in him to lead in the preservation of our constitution and republic. He is a duty-shirking crook.
Trump has flaunted his lawlessness, his disregard for the rule of law and his unconstitutional acts. In addition to the crimes he is charged with, he is obviously guilty of using the office of the presidency for personal gain. He goes to play golf most weekends and we pay him for accommodations and food for his troupe; his kids get a paycheck for being his top advisors; foreign dignitaries stay in his hotel while seeking to meet with him; and he wastes years of training, expertise, and experience by firing people who simply disagree with him. When he used his office to try to bribe the Ukrainian President to do his bidding and then prohibited witnesses from testifying he was attempting to personally benefit from the presidency.
Moreover, he is violating and making a mockery of the tenets of democracy and integrity by holding thousands of innocent children in conditions that would not pass the jail standards law of this country.
Impeach him, you cowards and power-crazed miscreants. Rid the country of the biggest threat yet to our freedom and democracy. Do it now.
As for the loudly seditious Trump supporters who say they’ll start a civil war if he is impeached, yeah, y’all go ahead with that. The US military will squash you like bugs. You get out your assault rifles and point them at the US military. They won’t do you a scintilla of good when a tank rolls over you, your beloved AR-15, and your house or anywhere you try to hide.
Remember, when and if Trump is removed from office he will no longer be the Commander-in-Chief. With Pence’s name being connected to some nasty behavior, too, the C-in-C could well be Nancy Pelosi. Then what you gonna’ do? So put up your toys and quit threatening civil war if he’s removed from office. At that point you’ll be fighting the USA. You and your other brother Darryl.
However, there’s a good chance the other side, the left, may resist in a bigger, more effective way if he’s left in office. The left won’t come with guns. They will simply do nothing — including not working, not leaving the streets, and not consenting to tyranny. The military is led by patriots who will give their lives for the nation. Their generals and our pentagon don’t think much of Trump and will see him as the wanna’ be dictator he is. If he is left in office and he even more brazenly disregards the constitution and disregards our laws, he better arm up Donald, Eric, Jared and Ivanka, because they’ll come for him. They’re sworn to defend the constitution, not Donald Trump. They are not required to honor an unconstitutional order from a madman.
Trump must be impeached and removed from office. If he’s not, we, our children, and our grandchildren will suffer the consequences. Our democracy will fail and Trump will become the power-mad dictator he’s always wanted to be.
