We can, and I agree with some of what you said. I usually agree with everything you say! So criticizing it was new for me. And I myself once wrote about cops' wives keeping me from getting a police job in my youth. They were nasty bitches.

But I once never disagreed with much of anything, since I was an overweight and timid, kid. As an older woman I've found myself (more or less), paid my dues, and I'm anything but shy.

You are right about her influence being dangerous to women and causing harm. I don't like her either. But I found it a weird subject for you, having read almost everything you write since 2019.

I guess I'm on a track of women sticking together until we cut away some of the power of men and distribute it more evenly. To me that is the priority. Of course, I understand it isn't yours - so my reaction to your piece came from my own set of prejudices, likes, and dislikes.

I'm glad you sort of understand where I'm coming from.

I love, love your writing and I think you are one of the best on Medium - or anywhere. So if I disagree with a piece - or a couple of pieces in this case- I still love your writing and will continue to read it and like it anyway, based on the quality of the content.

Write on, sister....oops, just kidding a bit.
