When Is It Time?

When is it time to worry about climate change?

Is it after the bridges have been taken by floods?

Is it when there are no farms to feed us?

Is it when large parts of Canada and California burn?

Or is it, for God’s sake, when we see Hawaii burning?

When we see Maui’s people jumping into the ocean?

Just exactly when is it time?

Life goes on as usual in places not flooded or burned,

But it is coming for all of us.
